While government funding and fundraising by the Victoria Chinatown Care Foundation certainly help, your donation can help us provide more programs and resources to enhance the quality of life for our residents. You may designate a gift to specific programs, or ask the Care Centre to allocate the funds according to our most pressing priorities as specified by the Board of Directors and Director of Care.
Charitable tax receipts will be issued for all amounts over $20 and can be made through monthly donation, one time gift, gift of securities or from a will. We are grateful for any and all contributions and for your consideration of donation options.

Gift Of Securities (Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds)
When you donate stocks, mutual funds, and/or other securities directly to the Chinatown Care Centre, you pay no capital gains tax and receive a tax receipt for the full amount of the gift. This can translate into significant tax savings. Please email us with “Securities Donation” in the subject line to make arrangements. Because we are registered as a charity, Board review and approval will be needed prior to acceptance of this type of donation.
